Cups
The cups tell us about our emotional life and the relationships we have with others. “The heart has its reasons that reason ignores,” Blaise Pascal tells us… In fact, emotions and reason are frequently presented as the great opposing principles of human consciousness. What if we were both at the same time? In a spread, the romantic and loving aspects are frequently put at the center of the interpretations associated with the cups. But when they appear, they first invite us to contemplate our emotional state and evaluate the health of our relationships. The world of emotions is complex. It encompasses joy, sadness, fear, anger, confidence, disgust, surprise and anticipation. And when our emotions are recombined, they weave a subtle web of feelings and resentments that we do not necessarily have a lucid perception of. Emotional intelligence is a recent area of understanding intelligence. The cuts invite us to access them. To build harmonious relationships... and consciously.
