The Fool
Once upon a time, there was an unparalleled fireworks display, an explosion of energy: the birth of the Universe. And with it, the appearance of galaxies, the formation of planets, stars too... and then, our good old Earth.
The Fool is all of that, and more. Sometimes a pilgrim, sometimes a wanderer, armed with a cooking spoon and a knapsack, he embodies Life itself. He represents hunger, appetite and indulgence, dreams and curiosity, the desire to rise and do whatever crosses our mind: create... or wander?
The Fool is that "us" whom others might think a bit crazy because we see the world differently, through the eyes of a child. For like the child, the Fool marvels. It’s his great power: to manifest all sorts of small miracles, all those things we’ve wished for from the bottom of our hearts.
And when we’ve stopped thinking about it, one fine day, we go out to do what we love... and our wish comes true.

The Fool signifies freedom.
This card tells us that the time has come to take charge of our destiny. As a benevolent spirit, it reminds us that time passes, and there may be nothing to do but to live life... with the carefree clarity of healthy awareness.
On his path, the Fool is preceded by his anima, who, in the form of a puppy, encourages him toward his goal... or perhaps tries to divert him? But while she may be wary, he is not. For bold and daring, the Fool knows intimately where he is going.
If this card is devoid of any number, it’s because it represents Life in its essence: pure energy, free and in constant motion. This Archetype is the universal metaphor; it is the present moment. Apparently dispossessed of everything, it is yet full of awareness and, in that, abundance.
Like him, let us look straight ahead and walk forward without looking back. And then, let us love...
