The Wheel of Fortune is an evocation of space-time.

For us, as well as for the creatures it leads towards ascension or downfall, any attempt to control it is futile... Faced with existential vertigo and our theistic or nihilistic temptations, the Wheel of Fortune invites us to take the leap into the unknown.

The 10, its number, resets the counters to conclude a cycle and start a new one. Like a mandala, karma, or destiny, the Wheel of Fortune is a metaphor for cyclical renewals. Turning the Wheel thus activates latent energy and encourages the manifestation of events suspended in the interim.

In other words, the probability of our desires materializing increases with the mobilization of our chances. Who dares nothing... gets nothing.

The Wheel of Fortune confronts us with the cycles of the ephemeral: everything has a beginning and an end.

For most, we welcome beginnings with more enthusiasm than we accept endings. Yet both arise from the same perpetual motion: the fractal dynamics of repetition and change.

In a reading, the Wheel of Fortune draws our attention to a possible emotional blockage. What is preventing us from moving forward, what feelings are we brooding over, and what have we not yet processed? To help us navigate the end of a cycle, it invites us to let go... and to consider the invisible and healing action of Providence on events perceived as unfavorable. Serendipity and the Wheel of Fortune are often synonymous...

Finally, it reminds us that luck favors the bold, provided they have the courage to "live... and let die."
