The Major Arcana map our state of consciousness across the 22 houses of the system — each positioned on one of the 7 levels of the being's unfolding. Their vocabulary draws on the visual codes of the original Tarot, Arab and Latin numerologies, correspondences with the Hebrew alphabet and astrological archetypes.
